The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of commercial insurance accounts. This role requires a high level of customer service, account management, policy analysis, and a deep understanding of property and casualty insurance.

Responsibilities:

As a Commercial Lines Account Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:
  • Managing a diverse portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, ensuring all renewals, proposals, certificates, and endorsements are handled accurately and timely.
  • Providing exceptional customer service to clients, responding to inquiries, and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
  • Analyzing policy details to determine the best coverage for clients and identifying potential gaps in coverage.
  • Collaborating with the sales team to develop and implement strategies for account growth and retention.
  • Navigating complex insurance policies and explaining coverage details to clients in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Coordinating with underwriters and carriers to negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and product offerings to provide the best service and advice to clients.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Commercial Lines Account Manager position will have the following qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3+ years of experience in commercial insurance, specifically in account management.
  • Strong knowledge of property and casualty insurance, including renewals, proposals, certificates, and endorsements.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze insurance policies and identify coverage gaps.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex insurance concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Proficiency in using insurance software and systems.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently.
  • Current and valid Property and Casualty license is preferred.
