Job Details

Position Requirements:

Minimum of a bachelor’s degree, master’s degree preferred, in electrical engineering, computer engineering or computer science with 3+ years of related commercial experience.
Commercially designed and released several products that includes firmware for complex electromechanical devices
Experience in systems level design, integration, and debug for electronic devices
Experience in schematic capture and PCB layout tools, preferably Altium Designer
Solid knowledge of Analog and Digital development and troubleshooting
Strong systems and circuit board level bring-up, debug, test, and documentation fundamentals
Understanding of EMI, radiated emissions, and mitigation techniques

Desired Skills:

Basic understanding of logic design, FPGA implementation, and Verilog
Working knowledge of high-voltage, high-current power supply designs for flash-lamps and laser diodes
Comfortable with simulation and automation tools such as LTspice, Matlab, Labview, FPGA test bench
Experience with IEC 60601-1, EMC, ISO 14971, and regulatory compliance process preferred
