Get ready to apply your accounting expertise in a dynamic and fast-paced environment! We are seeking a Permanent Staff Accountant with a passion for numbers and a keen eye for detail. You will play a critical role in our financial operations, ensuring our company's financial health and compliance with all regulatory standards. Responsibilities:

As our Staff Accountant, your primary responsibility will be to maintain our financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments. You will work closely with our accounting team to create and analyze financial reports and ensure legal requirements compliance, process accounts payable and receivable, and manage invoices and tax payments. Our ideal candidate has a strong understanding of accounting principles and can accurately perform the following tasks:

1. Perform month-end balance sheet reconciliations.
2. Conduct job costing for budget variances.
3. Carry out fixed asset reconciliation.
4. Prepare financial statements and reports, including the monthly and annual accounts.
5. Ensure timely, accurate, and efficient processing of all transactions.
6. Collaborate with the accounting team to improve financial procedures.
7. Liaise with external auditors and manage internal controls.
8. Ensure compliance with state revenue service and tax efficiency.

Qualifications:

To be successful as a Staff Accountant, you should be able to accurately maintain a general ledger and ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). You should also possess the following qualifications:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 2 years of accounting or related experience.
3. Proven experience with month-end balance sheet reconciliations, job costing for budget variances, and fixed asset reconciliation.
4. Proficient in accounting software, Microsoft Office Suite, particularly MS Excel.
5. Knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting best practices, laws, standards, and state/national regulations.
6. Strong analytical skills with an attention to detail.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills.
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
9. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
