Qualifications/Requirements:

• JD Degree.
• Admission the the NJ State Bar.
• A minimum of 5 years experience in special education litigation including assisting districts in the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEP), representing districts or parents at mediations facilitated by the Office of Special Education, and due process hearings or settlement conferences before the Office of Administrative Law.
• Experience in a wide variety of matters, including but not limited to Section 504, Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act, Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights Act, School Ethics Act, Open Public Records Act, and Open Public Meetings Act.
• Experience in special education, general labor relations and negotiations.
