Job Details

The Senior Project Manager is a position that leads the facilitation of successful design, fabrication, and installation of architectural and structural building systems. Leading an integrated team within a specific business unit, this role applies engineering, project management, problem solving, and communication skills across all levels and disciplines within the organization, significantly contributing to the project success of some of the West Coast's most iconic and exciting prefabricated buildings. This position leads several Project Managers and works on multiple projects simultaneously.Leads and is accountable for the delivery of Engineering services for a multitude of projects facilitated through a team of engineering professionals.Establishes and leads a cadence of information review to ensure, among many aspects:
Staffing plans, including development, training, mentoring, and succession planning, Performance to budget, including remedy/recovery actions to ensure performance to plan, Alignment of billing and costs in concert with Accounting, Costs and change orders, Contract drawings for changes in scope and verification of conformance with contract drawings, Accuracy of drawings, Contracts in relation to the full scope of projects, Selection of appropriate vendors & Cross-functional communication with relevant stakeholders.Regularly monitor and assess analyses of activities, costs, operations and forecast data to determine overall projects' progress to plan, and counsel leadership in the skill team and business units to initiate any recovery actions, as needed.Maintains collaborative cross-functional relationships with manufacturing leadership and the finance skill team, as well as other stakeholders throughout the business unit.Supports a culture of creativity and accountability in in the business unit - solve problems in new ways while keeping organizational commitments; establish appropriate cadence for reviews to maintain progress, resolve issues, all while maintaining an agile and adaptive working style promoting initiative, accountability, and quick iteration learning and revision.Challenge actively (constructively) and voice relevant concerns; coach and teach others on the team to engage constructively in meetings and encourage vibrant discourse.
