A bit about us:

Based in Cambridge, MA - We are a well funded and growing start-up that is accelerating the arrival of self-driving vehicles by tackling some of the most challenging problems that stand in the way of safe and reliable navigation. We have the backing of the largest automotive companies in the world, and are excited to work with them to get our technology out to the masses. Vehicles using our platform are unaffected by common but challenging road conditions like snow, heavy rain, fog, or poor lane markings.

We are searching for an engineer, with experience in the automotive industry, to take a lead role driving the cost and manufacturabilty of parts and assemblies designed by our mechanical development team. You will be working with our mechanical and process engineers to specify how we can best fabricate, assemble, and repair our designs. You will ensure we use DFM and best practices to generate a reliable and cost-effective product.

You will have an impact on design, process and supply chain. You will research new processes, find vendors and discuss, understand and communicate needs to the development team. You will analyze alternative processes to compare tooling costs, yield, durability and material costs.

As we move from prototypes, to pilots and to early production, you will document improvements, validate the designs, and drive continuous improvement. You will work with other engineers to implement and document the design changes. You will review designs and develop design guidelines.

Why join us?

  • Competitive base pay
  • full benefits.
  • Flexible work environment.
