Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of Salesforce architecture, API and best practices,
• Strong business analysis and functional experience, including requirements gathering, creating solutions, and/or deploying solutions to end users
• Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Reporting to the Director of Technology Projects, the Salesforce Developer will be primarily responsible for using Salesforce best practices to optimize existing Apex code as well as developing new code based on business requirements
• The Salesforce Developer will collaborate with the Technology Team and other business unit leaders to provide architecturally stable solutions for the organization to increase process speed, efficiency, and system stability
• The Salesforce Developer will also work closely with various consultants to ensure all developed code is not conflicting and is written optimally
• Develops in Apex (classes and triggers), Lightning Components, and Visualforce to extend Salesforce in order to support business requirements
• Includes basic Visualforce pages/Lightning pages, Lightning Web Components
• Optimizes existing Apex code while developing new features
• Develops strong relationships with business unit leaders across the organization to collaborate with and gather business requirements and ideate solutions
• Works closely with tech team to define technical requirements and provide insight into best solutions
• Contributes to technical documentation
• Assists with release cycles to implement and deploy new/updates to existing applications and code
• Troubleshoots and resolves bugs
• Works with integrated applications such as Custom Web Portal, Mobile Application, Docusign, Nintex Drawloop, 3rd party job boards, Website, Flosum
• Works cross functionally with 3rd party consultants to ensure a stable system environment
