Job Details
- A minimum of a Bachelors degree from an accredited university, preferably in Safety; Environmental, Health, & Safety (EHS); HR; or a related field.
- Working knowledge and working application in OSHA and Cal/OSHA regulations, Safety and Training.
- Familiarity with food manufacturing processes and food safety a plus.
- Experience with food manufacturing equipment is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem solving skills and an aptitude for detail and strong organizational abilities a must.
- Strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Schedule and provide GMP training for all department’s day and night shifts
- Coordinate yearly fire extinguisher inspections for all departments.
- Management of forklift training and certification for all operators.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
- Order and manage distribution of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) and training materials to all employees
- Develop and maintain a budget for PPE.
