MUST HAVES:

• Amplifier Tuning Experience!

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform tuning, troubleshooting and testing of RF Amplifiers

• Analyze and document results for items tuned/tested

• Use spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, noise figure analyzers, oscilloscopes and logic analyzers

• Experience applying RF fundamentals including but not limited to; RF Gain, Gain Flatness, Gain Matching Return Loss P1 dB Compression, phase/phase tracking

• Work on components under a microscope

• Calibrate equipment

• Ability to utilize/recall tuning/testing techniques previously used on products supported

• Work in a manufacturing environment and able to set/meet required production goals

• Follow ESD procedures.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• 2+ Years of Experience as an Electronics Tech

• Experience with RF theory and principals

• Experience in testing for gain, gain flatness, noise figure, VSWR, P1dB, IP3 and phase

• Experience with the handling/tune/test/inspection of RF & Microwave Amplifiers preferred.

• Ability to use hand tools for inspection, i.e. height gages, calipers, micrometers, microscope, etc

• Interpret Pass/Fail Data
