Job Details

Is your background a fit?
* REQUIRED: Active Top-Secret Clearance, with the ability to obtain SCI
* Bachelor's degree or subject matter expertise in this field
* Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), or higher
* 10+ years of telecommunications experience with a background supporting core network service connectivity and integrations including:
  • Cisco routing platforms, such as Aggregation Services Routers (ASRs), and Integrated Service Routers (ISRs)
  • Routing protocols and technologies (BGP, EIGRP, DMVPN, GRE)
  • Layer 2 technologies (STP, MST, VLANS)
* Demonstrated experience in overseeing and troubleshooting complex LAN issues and resolving WAN problems and implementing, integrating, and supporting of cost-effective, high-performance IP and LAN/WAN solutions.
* Experience with network design and traffic engineering
* Large enterprise environment experience
* Able to effectively prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment

Preferred Additional Skills and Qualifications:
* Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE)
* In-depth knowledge and work experience with Cisco Viptela SD-WAN technology
* Creation of SD-WAN configuration templates, Security policy templates, App-Route Policy templates
* Designing and building Cisco VManage, VBond, and VSmart controllers
* Knowledge of OMP, TLOC routing protocols

What will you be doing:
Overall: Work with a core network team responsible for the network modernization of the client's network enterprise. The modernization will leverage new SD-WAN technology to improve efficiency, automation, and the ability to leverage various WAN connectivity options (e.g. MPLS, Broadband, 4G/5G). This will include:
* Lead the Development, design, test, and implement the Lab and Proof of Concept for the Cisco Viptela SDWAN architecture
* Lead and conduct network planning, design, and initial implementation of new network project initiatives
* Lead the network engineering team to validate network design as per customer specifications including circuit protection, transport network selection, and interworking across networks;
* Lead the development, and design of:
  • Site plan and ID schema
  • System IP address Schema
  • Transport VPN & Service VPN IP Schema
  • Orchestrator buildout and installation
  • PNP setup and configuration
  • Template Creation and validation
  • Underlay and Overlay Routing Schema
  • Application Routing Policy
  • DIA Policy
  • Security Policy
* Provide Tier 3 technical support for diagnosing/resolving network related issues that occur during the implementation of those networks
* Provide engineering/deployment support during the implementation and turn up of new network nodes and related connections
