Job Details:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Payroll and AP Manager to join our team in the medical industry. This role involves managing the entire payroll function for our organization and overseeing the accounts payable process. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, managing the accounts payable function, ensuring compliance with all payroll and accounts payable regulations, and providing leadership and direction to the payroll and accounts payable team.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the bi-weekly payroll process for the organization, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing.
• Perform payroll supervisory duties, including managing the payroll team, providing training and guidance, and ensuring compliance with all payroll regulations.
• Manage the accounts payable function, including review, matching, batching, and coding of AP invoices.
• Ensure compliance with all accounts payable regulations and company policies.
• Provide leadership and direction to the payroll and accounts payable team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Develop and implement payroll and accounts payable policies and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Work closely with other departments and stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Resolve payroll and accounts payable issues in a timely and effective manner.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a payroll and/or accounts payable management role, preferably in a company with multiple segments or divisions.
• Proven experience with bi-weekly payroll, payroll supervisory duties, accounts payable review, matching, batching, and coding of AP invoices.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
• Detail-oriented, with strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve payroll and accounts payable issues effectively.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
• Knowledge of payroll and accounts payable regulations and best practices.
• Proficiency in payroll and accounts payable software.
