We are currently seeking a dynamic Quality & Process Improvement Nurse Manager for that is passionate about giving quality and accessible healthcare to everyone in Bronx and NYC and beyond!

This position offers an exceptional opportunity to play a pivotal role in a leading healthcare organization, dedicated to providing top-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collaborating with the Director of Quality on implementing quality management and improvement, regulatory compliance, and process improvement initiatives. This position requires a candidate with a deep understanding of the medical industry, a strong background in Quality Assurance, and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of care.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the development and implementation of quality improvement plans to meet organizational goals and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Implement and manage the Quality Assurance program, ensuring processes and procedures are in place to maintain the highest standards of care.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with medical staff, management, and other stakeholders to foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
  • Lead the organization in accreditation and licensure efforts, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
  • Utilize data to identify areas of improvement and implement strategies to enhance patient care and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to drive process improvement initiatives.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the quality assurance team, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
  • Stay abreast of current trends, best practices, and regulatory changes in the healthcare industry and adjust strategies as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred: CPHQ certification.
  • Minimum of 1 years of experience in quality improvement, regulatory compliance, and process improvement in a healthcare setting, preferably in an outpatient clinic.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to drive decision making.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to a variety of audiences.
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local healthcare regulations and standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and stakeholders effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.
  • Proficiency in electronic health record systems and other healthcare technology.
