We have an outstanding career opportunity for a Broadcast News Line Producer to join an exciting and growing International News Organization located in the Washington, D.C. area.

We are searching for Line Producer who is an international news junkie who will create compelling shows for a global audience

Must be able to juggle multiple tasks and switch gears under pressure as well as having experience with breaking news and ideally some digital experience.

Responsibilities:

• Work with a team of writers, editors, guest bookers, graphics producers and our reporters around the world to create compelling content.
• Producing shows including pitching, writing and editing stories for TV and occasionally the web.
• Segment production including working for and with our growing team of field reporters.
• Juggling multiple tasks in a dynamic live television environment.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of and interest in international news.
• Related degree and/or 5 years of Broadcast News Line Producing experience.
• Flexibility to work various shifts in a multicultural high-pressure environment.
• Motivated self-starter able to work independently and in a team.
• Experience line producing multiple shows, international experience or a second language is a plus.
