Job Details

Reporting to our Processing Manager and working closely with the Branch Manager, you will be one of our first hires in our Fort Lauderdale office that we expect to be at around 30 employees within the next 6 months!

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Quickly and efficiently answers questions from consumer throughout the mortgage process.
  • Stays up to date on changing rules and regulations pertaining to conventional and government-insured mortgages.
  • Processes verifications for credit items, including, but not limited to: employment, asset information, rental history, credit reports, etc.
  • Works closely with underwriting and closing departments to ensure the quality of loan file flow.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • 3+ years Mortgage Processing experience in a high volume production environment
  • Experience with LOS systems required (We are an Encompass shop but willing to train those with experience in other LOS systems)
  • Computer skills pertaining to the basic use of personal computer, email, word processing, and spreadsheets.
  • Ability to work on a team and multiple department teams.
