Job Details
- Experience underwriting FHA / VA / USDA / Conventional loans
- Working knowledge of FNMA / FHLMC / FHA / VA / RHS credit underwriting standards, and federal and multi-state regulatory compliance requirements that apply to mortgage loans
- Strong familiarity with private mortgage insurance guidelines.
- Competent in operation of automated underwriting engines such as Freddie Mac's Loan product Advisor, Fannie Mae's Desktop Underwriter and USDA's Guaranteed Underwriting System
- Currently qualified for employer nomination as a HUD-FHA Direct Endorsement Underwriter and VA Automatic Underwriter, this is not a requirement but is preferred
