Job Details

Responsibilities of this position include:

Process loans efficiently and accurately with strict adherence to company, agency, investor and regulatory policies and procedures.
Work closely with the Loan Officer to ensure a timely and stress-free experience for our customers throughout the entire process. Communicate directly with the borrower to obtain related conditions.
Ensure accuracy by reviewing and analyzing all aspects of the mortgage credit package including but not limited to: Accuracy of system input, asset and income documentation, including personal and business tax returns, credit report and credit documentation.
Manage a pipeline to key benchmarks including internal service level agreements, contractual dates, and lock expirations.

Other position requirement includes:

High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree or equivalent college coursework preferred
Must have one year of Mortgage Loan Processing experience (required)
Must be passionate about delivering excellence in customer service
Must be able to perform responsibilities with composure under the stress of constant deadlines while maintaining accuracy and quality
Strong analytical decision-making and problem-solving abilities
Effective business communication skills (both oral and written)
Excellent time management and organizational skills (must be detail-oriented and thorough)
Ability to work effectively with all levels of professionals including borrowers, attorneys, title companies and real estate agents
Knowledge of required loan documentation, its purpose, and the ability to recognize and properly handle exceptions
Thorough understanding of FNMA, FHLMC, VA & FHA guidelines
Computer literate; experience using all Microsoft Office applications
