We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Fixed Asset Accountant to join our Accounting team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately recording, monitoring, and reconciling fixed assets in compliance with company policies and accounting standards. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

• Record acquisitions and disposals for fixed assets and software development costs
• Create tax depreciation schedules, roll forward schedules, and periodic capital spending
• Conduct reconciliations of fixed asset accounts.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Develop and implement fixed asset policies and controls.
• Prepare and analyze fixed asset reports.
• Coordinate fixed asset audits and provide support.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA certification or progress towards CPA preferred.
• 2 years of fixed asset accounting experience.
• Proficiency in accounting software (NetSuite desired) and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong understanding of GAAP for fixed assets.
