Our company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent, full-time position where you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing all aspects of electrical components, equipment, and machinery. You will be working closely with our team of engineers and other professionals to create and improve our products and services. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, challenging environment and who has a passion for innovation and excellence.

Responsibilities:

1. Design, analyze, and simulate electrical systems using software tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and MEP.
2. Develop and test electrical components and systems, including switchgear, low voltage, power conditioning, and energization.
3. Conduct short circuit analysis and troubleshoot electrical systems to identify and resolve issues.
4. Apply knowledge of the fundamentals of engineering (FE) to design and implement effective solutions.
5. Ensure all electrical designs and installations comply with the relevant building codes and standards.
6. Collaborate with the team to develop and implement project plans and timelines.
7. Conduct quality control checks to ensure systems are working optimally.
8. Draft and update electrical design documentation and reports.
9. Train and mentor junior engineers and other team members.
10. Keep abreast of advancements and changes in technology and develop an understanding of how they can be applied to our operations.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field from an ABET-accredited institution.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, specifically in electrical systems design and electrical troubleshooting.
3. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and MEP.
4. Extensive knowledge of switchgear, low voltage, power conditioning, and energization.
5. Strong understanding of power systems and control systems.
6. Familiarity with building codes and regulations.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical systems.
8. Solid understanding of the fundamentals of engineering (FE).
9. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
10. Ability to work well in a team and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
11. Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus.
