Here are a few details about this opportunity!

Compensation: Salary will be based on experience, and we also offer a sign-on bonus!
**We will also consider relocation bonuses on a case-by-case basis**

Experience:
  • CST: Minimum of 6-months experience preferred
  • CST- First Assist: 1-2 years surgical technology experience, Preferred: 1-2 years surgical first assist experience
  • Perioperative Tech: Less than one (1) year of patient care (i.e. nursing assistant/surgical tech/ MA), Supply chain, Operating Room or relevant medical equipment experience. Preferred: 3-5 years patient care, Supply Chain, OR, or relevant medical equipment experience
  • CVOR/CVT: Minimum of 2 years experience as a Surgical Tech. Also, 3-5 years of working experience as a surgical technologist and assisting in a specialty line (Cardiology, Neurology, or Orthopedics)

Required Licensure/Certifications:
  • CST: Must be certified by NCCT, NBSTSA, or LCCC-ST
  • CST - First Assist: Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA) from The National Board of Surgical Technology Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or American Board of Surgical Assistants (ABSA). All applicants **Must have a First Assist Certificate**

Schedule: Typically, Monday through Friday from 7:00am-3:00pm. **Evening shifts are also available**

Necessary Skills:
1. Must possess a working knowledge of operating room fundamentals, including aseptic principles and techniques.
2. Strong working knowledge of patient care and basic human needs throughout the life span.
3. In depth knowledge of medical terminology.
4. Strong working knowledge of acute and chronic disease processes.
5. Demonstrates teamwork and communicates in a professional manner with all members of the healthcare team.
6. Adapts quickly and easily to change and adjusted behavior and approach to work when necessary to achieve goals.
