Responsibilities:

• Manages and maintains accounting records and is responsible for production of financial reports.
• Must be issued on time, in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles with accuracy.
• Heavily assists with formulating company budget and ensures expenses are in line with projected revenue.
• Forecasts using knowledge of market, current events, and past experience.
• Ensures Accounts Payable payments are on time and debt is serviced properly.
• Stays apprised of all local, state, and federal tax laws and regulations that may affect the business, and execute accordingly.
• Must manage the other members of the financial team, including AR, AP, Purchasing, and others
• Be a part of the decision-making team on adding new positions or adjusting current ones that pertain to finance.

Required:

• Accounting Experience within the Construction or Manufacturing Industries
• Strong Experience as a Controller
• Leadership Experience (You will be running our Accounting Team including AR, AP, and Purchasing)
• Bachelors in Finance or similar required; higher level of education appreciated

Nice to Haves:

• Experience in Accounting within the Structural and Miscellaneous Steel Industry
• Viewpoint or Spectrum Accounting Software
