Job Details:
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Permanent Construction Commercial Superintendent to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all stages of commercial construction projects, including planning, coordinating, and supervising all construction activities. This role requires a keen understanding of the construction industry, specifically in the areas of retail construction, auto dealerships, car dealerships, banks, and industrial construction. The candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all stages of project life cycle including pre-construction, construction, and post-construction phases.
• Coordinate and supervise all construction activities, ensuring all projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Manage relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and collaboration.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure quality and safety standards are met.
• Resolve any issues or delays that may occur during the construction process.
• Prepare and submit regular project reports to senior management.
• Develop and implement project strategies and schedules, ensuring all team members understand their roles and responsibilities.
• Collaborate with architects and engineers to determine the best methods to achieve project goals.
• Handle any environmental or local community issues that may arise during the construction process.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar role.
• Proven experience in commercial construction, specifically in retail construction, auto dealerships, car dealerships, banks, and industrial construction.
• Excellent knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.
• Strong leadership and project management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in construction management software.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Certification in Occupational Health and Safety may be required.
