Responsibilities:

• Perform all routine and complicated laboratory procedures incluidng specimen processing and handling, testing of patient specimens, calculating and reporting of results
• Quality Control Procedures
• Operation and maintenance of instruments and equipment
• Assist in the development of new procedures and protocols
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in a Chemical, Physical, Biological or clinical laboratory science or medical technology from an accredited college/university
• Successful completion of Laboratory Training or Clinical Laboratory Training Program
• Comfortable operating laboratory analyzers and instrumentation, centrifuges, microscopes, pipettes, balances, mixers, rotators, and other equipement
• Must be able to effectively utilize the Laboratory Information System
