Control plan
- Create and maintain project roadmaps and track execution while ensuring that all supporting stakeholders are aligned for success.
- Establish working relationship within our outside vendor groups to manage sensitive timelines.
- Work with cross functional engineering teams to establish program scope, development schedules, validation plans, track progress, and drive issue resolution among the teams.
- Perform ongoing risk analysis during the management of the program(s). Escalate as required.
- Execute and track program deliverables, milestones, action items, technical dependencies, risks, mitigation plans, and create technical assessments.
- Prepare and performs gate reviews.
- Ensure keeping of negotiated program milestones.
- Establishes and administers the department’s budget.
- Be strategic and proactive. Have the attributes to analytical thinking, hands-on problem solving, and provide recommendations and solutions that create positive outcomes for the business.
- Manage product cost evolution.
- Follow all defined company processes.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Educational experience: Bachelor's Degree in technical discipline, Master's Degree a plus.
- 3+ years of demonstrated experience with automotive development Program Management.
- Experience managing complex business operations critical cross functional programs.
- Experience working with project planning tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Projects, Smartsheets, Visio, Confluence).
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, leadership skills, and a professional attitude.
- Professional appearance and work ethic.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Have a broad knowledge of project and program management methodologies.
- PMP Certification or equivalent experience.
- Experience individuals who have worked in Automotive Tier 1 Supplier.
- Experience working with large companies, preferably automotive and/or consumer electronics manufacturers.
- Be comfortable with technical & business audiences.
