We are seeking a dynamic Contract Accounts Payable and Payroll Specialist to join our team in the medical industry. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial department, with responsibilities spanning across payroll, accounts payable, accounting reconciliations, and more. You will be working closely with our financial team, and your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance in all our financial operations. Responsibilities:

1. Process payroll for employees using ADP, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
2. Handle all aspects of accounts payable, including invoice processing, 2 and 3-way matching, payment processing, and vendor management.
3. Perform regular accounting reconciliations related to payroll and payables.
4. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial and employee data at all times, adhering to the company's confidentiality policy and data protection regulations.
5. Assist with month-end closing procedures and generate financial reports as required.
6. Collaborate with the HR department to ensure accurate employee data for payroll processing.
7. Respond promptly and professionally to any payroll or accounts payable inquiries from employees, vendors, or management.
8. Stay updated on the latest industry trends, payroll tax laws, and accounts payable best practices.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll processing and accounts payable, preferably within the healthcare or medical industry.
2. Proficient in using ADP for payroll processing.
3. Demonstrated knowledge of 2 and 3-way matching in accounts payable.
4. Strong skills in accounting reconciliations related to payroll and payables.
5. Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all work.
6. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
7. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
8. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
9. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
10. Knowledge of financial regulations and standards in the healthcare or medical industry is a plus.
11. A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
