Responsibilities

• Defend client companies in workers' compensation cases.
• Provide legal counsel and representation throughout all stages of litigation .
• Conduct legal research and prepare pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Collaborate with support staff, medical professionals, and experts to build strong cases.
• Attend hearings, depositions, and mediations as necessary.
• Negotiate settlements and represent clients in court when required.
• Stay up-to-date with legal trends, regulations, and case law related to workers' compensation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of legal experience.
• Member, State Bar of California.
• Superior research, analytical, and negotiating ability.
• Excellent written and oral communication; and commitment to proactive case management.
