Job Details

Reporting to the General Counsel, the Workers Compensation and Liability Manager is an integral position for the future of the company. We are looking for someone who will improve our policies and procedures and help us take this wonderful business to the next level. We are looking for someone who knows how to manage our insurance positions, assess risk exposures, negotiate our coverage, and resolve claims. We want leaders with new and exciting ideas that want to grow.

How can you help be a part of this exciting opportunity:
  • Be the primary person to impact and consult with brokers, insurers, and adjusters related to company risk management, insurance, and bonding issues.
  • Discover the best providers at the best price with contract reviews related to insurance and bond issues.
  • Provide new insight and work with amazing employees to help take care of internal claim management efforts for worker’s compensation, general liability, automobile liability, and builder’s risk), including oversight of third-party administrators, insurers, and defense attorneys.
  • We want you to lead with new ideas and manage the compilation and reporting of information to insurance brokers for annual insurance renewal.
  • Take charge of all aspects of property and casualty insurance programs and policies.
  • Be creative and clear in your communication to better compile data for the annual renewal of insurance programs, including management of brokers, approval of submissions, and negotiations of terms and premiums with clear.
  • Share your experience and insights into how to improve what we do to help our company become more efficient and stronger.
  • Keep us all safe and sound by reviewing insurance certificates from subcontractors and tenants to ensure compliance with trade contracts/lease agreements.
  • Lead the way and make an impact during our annual/quarterly policy audits as required by carriers.
  • We need a leader who directs the surety bond program, including oversight of administration, reporting, and premium allocations.
  • Participate in building an amazing risk management solution for the brands we support.
  • Take care of our most important asset, our employees, and be the key point of contact for workers, clinics, and adjusters for all questions related to workers' compensation claims and injuries.
  • Use your technical expertise to guide our company on insurance-related inquiries to internal departments.
  • We need your analytical skills to guide the annual insurance premiums, financial performance of insurance programs, and determination of premium allocations.
  • Be part of an astounding legal team with claim management for general liability, and automobile claims.
  • Coach and encourage the safety team to assist in injury reports, accident investigations, OSHA investigations etc.

Education and Training:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the compliance and risk management field.
  • Knowledge of construction operations, regulations, and compliance requirements.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
  • Bilingual in Spanish a plus
  • Excellent Customer Service
  • Create summarized themes in the form of infographics, PowerPoints, Graphs, & Executive Written Summaries
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate complex issues to all types of stakeholders.
