Water/Wastewater Treatment Engineer

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Water/Wastewater Treatment Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, planning, and implementing water and wastewater treatment projects. Responsibilities:

1. Design, plan, and supervise water and wastewater treatment projects, including the preparation of design calculations, technical reports, and construction plans.
2. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop efficient and cost-effective solutions to complex water and wastewater treatment challenges.
3. Use Civil3D software to create and modify design plans, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
4. Conduct feasibility studies to assess the viability of proposed projects, including cost estimates, project schedules, and environmental impact assessments.
5. Lead the preparation of permit applications, bid documents, and technical specifications for water and wastewater treatment projects.
6. Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure project objectives are met.
7. Provide technical support during construction, including resolving design issues, reviewing shop drawings, and ensuring compliance with design specifications.
8. Stay updated with the latest developments in water and wastewater treatment technologies and regulations.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 2 years of experience in water and wastewater treatment design, planning, and implementation.
3. Proficiency in Civil3D or similar design software.
4. Strong understanding of water and wastewater treatment processes and technologies.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges.
6. Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to a variety of audiences.
7. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment, collaborating with colleagues from diverse disciplines.
8. Professional Engineering (PE) license or the ability to obtain one within a specified timeframe.
9. Demonstrated commitment to safety, sustainability, and environmental stewardship.
