We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated Permanent Water Resources Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to become a critical member of our highly skilled group of professionals who are committed to excellence in the engineering industry. Responsibilities:

As a Water Resources Engineer, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

1. Conducting detailed hydrologic and hydraulic analyses.
2. Developing and implementing innovative design solutions for water resources projects including stormwater management, flood risk management, water supply, and water distribution systems.
3. Preparing and presenting detailed reports and design documents.
4. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the integration of water resources aspects into various projects.
5. Conducting environmental impact assessments related to water resources.
6. Providing technical guidance on water conservation and wastewater treatment.
7. Assisting in the planning and management of water resources, including water quality assessments.
8. Ensuring all projects comply with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you must have:

1. A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree would be considered an asset.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in water resources engineering.
3. Proficiency in flood risk management, hydraulics, hydrology, stormwater management, and environmental engineering.
4. Experience in water quality, wastewater treatment, water supply, water conservation, water distribution systems, water resource planning, and water resource management.
5. Strong knowledge of water treatment processes.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
7. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
8. Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain one within a year of hire.
