Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Warehouse Associate, your primary responsibilities will be:
1. Receiving, inspecting, and verifying incoming shipments, ensuring all goods are in perfect condition and accurately documented.
2. Loading and unloading goods from trucks and other delivery vehicles, using forklifts or other necessary equipment.
3. Ensuring timely dispatch of goods to the appropriate departments or locations within the company.
4. Maintaining accurate records of all warehouse activities, including shipping and receiving logs, inventory records, and warehouse space utilization reports.
5. Collaborating with other team members to ensure all warehouse processes run smoothly and efficiently.
6. Complying with all safety regulations and maintaining a clean, organized warehouse environment.
7. Assisting in periodic inventory audits and helping to resolve any discrepancies.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this exciting role, you will need:
1. A minimum of 2+ years of experience in a warehouse setting.
2. Proven experience with shipping, receiving, loading, and unloading.
3. Valid certification to operate forklifts.
4. Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
5. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
6. Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively at all levels.
7. Physical stamina and dexterity necessary for the work; ability to lift and carry heavy items.
8. Basic computer skills for maintaining accurate electronic records.
9. A high school diploma or equivalent; a degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field would be a plus.
