Job Details:

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Wage & Hour Attorney to join our legal team. This role requires a professional with a deep understanding of wage and hour class action, CA Wage & Hour, and mediation. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6+ years of labor and employment experience, with a particular focus on employee side litigation. This position offers an exciting opportunity to handle complex and challenging legal issues, as well as the chance to work with a team of highly skilled legal professionals.

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Wage & Hour Attorney, you will:

1. Represent clients in wage and hour class action cases, providing expert legal advice and guidance throughout the litigation process.
2. Ensure compliance with CA Wage & Hour laws, advising clients on the best practices to avoid potential legal issues.
3. Participate in mediation sessions, negotiating settlements on behalf of clients and representing their interests in a professional and persuasive manner.
4. Conduct thorough and detailed investigations into potential labor and employment law violations.
5. Draft, review, and revise legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.
6. Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals, sharing your expertise and contributing to the overall success of our team.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, you must have:

1. Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Active membership in the State Bar of California.
3. A minimum of 6 years of experience as a practicing attorney, with at least 2 years of labor and employment experience - employee side.
4. Proven experience in wage and hour class action and CA Wage & Hour law.
5. Strong mediation skills, with the ability to negotiate effectively and resolve disputes amicably.
6. Prior experience in employee side litigation, with a demonstrated ability to represent clients effectively and achieve successful outcomes.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make sound legal decisions.
9. High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
