Vice President of Treasury

Job Description:

Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as the Vice President of Treasury. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of treasury operations, including cash flow analysis, foreign exchange (FX) hedging, FX derivatives management, intercompany netting, and financial modeling. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), you will play a critical role in optimizing our liquidity management strategies, mitigating financial risks, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct cash flow analysis and forecasting to optimize liquidity management and support strategic decision-making.
Develop and implement FX hedging strategies to mitigate currency risk exposure and enhance financial stability.
Manage FX derivatives portfolio, including options, forwards, and swaps, to hedge against currency fluctuations effectively.
Coordinate intercompany netting processes to streamline cross-border transactions and minimize transaction costs.
Lead a team of treasury professionals, providing mentorship, guidance, and performance management to achieve departmental goals.
Utilize advanced financial modeling techniques to assess the impact of treasury activities on the company's overall financial performance.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including finance, accounting, and risk management teams, to align treasury initiatives with organizational objectives.
Stay abreast of market trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in treasury management to ensure compliance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field is required. Advanced degree (MBA, MSF) and/or professional certifications (CTP, CFA) preferred.
Proven track record of leadership and managerial experience in treasury operations, preferably in a global and publicly traded company.
Strong expertise in cash flow analysis, FX hedging strategies, and financial modeling techniques.
In-depth knowledge of FX derivatives instruments and their application in risk management.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across various levels of the organization.
Strategic thinker with the ability to drive change, innovate, and adapt to evolving business environments.
Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing treasury management systems (TMS) and financial software applications.
High level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to upholding ethical standards in financial management.
