We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join our team as a VP of Medical Affairs. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the development and execution of medical strategies and clinical trials, particularly in the field of Kidney Dialysis.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and strategic direction to the Medical Affairs team, ensuring alignment with the overall company goals.
  • Oversee the design and execution of clinical trials, ensuring they are conducted in accordance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Serve as the primary medical expert in the field of Nephrology and Kidney Dialysis, providing guidance and insight to various stakeholders within the organization.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders, healthcare professionals, and regulatory bodies.
  • Ensure compliance with FDA regulations and other relevant industry standards.
  • Participate in the evaluation and assessment of new product opportunities, providing medical and scientific expertise.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and improve the effectiveness and safety of our medical devices.
  • Lead the development of medical education programs and materials to support the understanding and appropriate use of our products.

Qualifications:

  • MD from an accredited institution is required.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Medical Affairs within the pharma or medical devices industry.
  • Proven experience in Nephrology and/or Kidney Dialysis.
  • Strong knowledge of FDA regulations and clinical trials.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
  • High level of integrity and commitment to patient safety and quality.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
