Job Details

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Finance to lead our company's financial operations and guide us towards profitability and long-term success. The VP of Finance will be responsible for the financial health of our organization, bringing an analytical mindset, strategic thinking, and exceptional leadership to the role. This executive will work closely with the CFO and the board to make critical decisions that will ensure our financial stability and growth.

Responsibilities

1. Oversee, direct, and manage the company's financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, auditing, and risk management.
2. Develop and implement financial strategies and systems that align with the company's business goals.
3. Conduct regular financial analyses and produce financial reports to guide strategic decision-making.
4. Lead the financial planning and budgeting processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
5. Collaborate with the executive leadership team to make informed financial decisions.
6. Monitor and manage financial performance metrics, identifying areas for potential improvement.
7. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
8. Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the company.
9. Evaluate and advise on the financial impact of long-range planning, new programs/strategies, and regulatory action.
10. Develop and implement finance, accounting, billing, and auditing procedures.
11. Establish and maintain appropriate internal controls to ensure the integrity of the company's financial transactions and reports.

Qualifications

1. A minimum of 10 years of experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a senior financial managerial position.
2. Proven experience in financial planning, forecasting, and financial data analysis.
3. Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing financial systems and strategies.
4. Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes.
5. Proficient in using financial software and conducting financial modeling.
6. Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to develop and lead a high-performing finance team.
7. Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
8. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
9. A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required. An MBA or related advanced degree is preferred.
10. A professional accounting designation (CA, CMA, or CPA) is highly desirable.
11. Exceptional ability to communicate and present complex financial data to non-financial audiences.
12. High level of commercial acumen and a record of success in managing the financial aspects of a business.
13. Demonstrated experience in driving efficiency and profitability through process improvement and organizational development.
