Job Details

Responsibilities:

Leadership and Team Management:

Lead and manage a team of project managers and assistant project managers through all phases of large-scale electrical construction projects, ensuring maximum profitability and client satisfaction.
Comprehensive Project Oversight:

Oversee construction operations, planning, design, prefabrication, and budgeting tasks with efficiency and timeliness.
Safety Excellence:

Enforce and enhance safety policies in collaboration with our Safety Department, maintaining a high level of safety excellence.
Client Relationship Development:

Develop and nurture client relationships through exemplary performance, communication, and productivity, identifying opportunities for repeat business.
Strategic Project Planning:

Participate in project turnover meetings, setting project standards and strategic plans with estimating and prefabrication teams.
Schedule Adherence and Client Satisfaction:

Ensure project schedules are met and consistently exceed client expectations.
Collaboration with Division Leadership:

Collaborate with Division VP and Operations Manager to establish weekly project manpower and long-term projections.
BIM Coordination and Procurement Oversight:

Manage BIM coordination with the Coordination Department and oversee procurement processes.
Budget Monitoring:

Establish and monitor project cost-coded budgets derived from original estimates.
Optimization of Project Efficiencies:

Work with GF and field staff to optimize project efficiencies, workflow, and schedule adherence.
Continuous Improvement and Project Closeout:

Complete project closeout processes, identifying lessons learned for continuous improvement.
Qualifications/Requirements:

Proven Project Management Experience (12-15 years):

Demonstrated experience as an electrical project management professional with 12-15 years of successful project oversight.
Deep Understanding of Project Management:

Possess a deep understanding of project management principles, procedures, and materials in electrical construction.
Familiarity with Health and Safety Standards:

Have a working knowledge of health and safety standards to ensure a secure and compliant project environment.
Communication, Negotiation, Organizational, and Time-Management Skills:

Exhibit outstanding communication, negotiation, organizational, and time-management skills essential for effective project leadership.
Leadership Abilities and Collaborative Team Player:

Demonstrate leadership abilities with a collaborative team-player approach.
