Job Details

To excel as a Full Time Estimator for Large Diameter Utilities, you must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, though experience can also be a strong asset. With at least 5 years of experience in heavy civil underground utilities construction, you should exhibit a solid understanding of the industry. Proficiency in construction estimating and project management is advantageous, along with a valid driver's license. Comprehensive knowledge of legal requirements and safety standards is paramount.

Your adeptness with software like Microsoft Office and Outlook is crucial, and familiarity with HCSS Heavy Bid and Heavy Job is beneficial. Strong communication skills, mathematical proficiency, and a willingness to travel as needed are also key qualities for success in this role.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management

Engineering

or related field preferred

Minimum 5 years experience in heavy civil underground utilities construction

A construction estimating/project management background is helpful

Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record

Thorough knowledge of legal issues and safety standards is essential

Computer proficiency

including the use of Microsoft Office and Outlook

Familiarity with HCSS Heavy Bid and Heavy Job preferred

Must be able to travel to job sites throughout the United States

Practical written and verbal communication skills

High math aptitude

Ability to travel 15% of the time as required
