Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
- Provide comprehensive legal advice on all aspects of trust and estate law, including estate planning, trust administration, probate, and related tax matters.
- Manage a diverse caseload, ensuring all matters are handled efficiently and effectively.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, offering expert advice and guidance on complex trust and estate matters.
- Prepare and review legal documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and estate tax returns.
- Keep abreast of changes in trust and estate law and tax regulations, ensuring our firm remains at the forefront of the industry.
- Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement strategies for complex cases.
- Participate in business development activities, including networking events, seminars, and client meetings.
- Ensure all activities comply with legal, ethical, and professional standards.
Qualifications:
- A Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in trust and estate law, with a focus on tax matters.
- Admission to IL state bar.
- Extensive knowledge of trust and estate law and tax regulations.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A commitment to delivering top-quality legal services.
- A high degree of professionalism, integrity, and ethical awareness.
- The ability to work independently, manage a diverse caseload, and meet tight deadlines.
