This role is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead the Trust and Estate Practice, with an excellent reputation in the area to build on the firm’s existing client base and advisor relationships The successful candidate will have a strong background in trust and estate law, a passion for client service, and a commitment to achieving the best possible outcomes for our clients.

Responsibilities:

As a Trust and Estates Partner, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Providing expert advice on a wide range of trust and estate matters, including estate planning, trust administration, and probate.
2. Developing estate plans and wealth management strategies for high net worth clients.
3. Overseeing the drafting and execution of wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate planning documents.
4. Representing clients in disputes involving trusts and estates.
5. Collaborating with other members of our legal team to ensure a seamless client experience.
6. Staying up-to-date with changes in trust and estate law and informing clients of any potential impacts.
7. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, demonstrating a clear understanding of their goals and objectives, and ensuring their needs are met.

Qualifications:

To be considered for the Trust and Estates Partner role, you should have:

1. A Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in trust and estate law, preferably with a focus on high net worth clients.
3. Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
4. Excellent leadership, communication, and mentoring skills.
5. Etensive experience in complex estate planning and administration, with deep knowledge of tax planning strategies, gifting, and trust planning and administration.
6. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to providing high-quality legal services.
7. A track record of building and maintaining strong client relationships.
8. A deep understanding of the legal, financial, and tax implications of various estate planning strategies.
9. The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
10. High ethical standards and professional integrity.
