This is not your typical 9-5 job but a thrilling opportunity to be on the move, overseeing various construction projects across different locations. If you're an experienced professional with a knack for retail, big box, site work, underground utilities, and tilt wall, we are looking for you. With 3+ years of experience under your belt, you will be the driving force behind our construction projects, ensuring they are completed to the highest standards, on time, and within budget.

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Traveling Superintendent, you will:

1. Oversee all stages of project life cycle and manage day-to-day operations on-site.
2. Ensure all construction activities align with project plans and specifications.
3. Handle retail, big box, site work, underground utilities, and tilt wall projects effectively.
4. Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors, ensuring they are fully aware of their responsibilities and tasks.
5. Review work progress daily and address any issues that arise.
6. Act as the key point of contact for clients, architects, and consultants on project status and updates.
7. Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
8. Implement risk management procedures to minimize project risks.
9. Comply with legal requirements, building and safety codes, and other regulations.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Permanent Traveling Superintendent role should have:

1. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Superintendent or in a similar role in the construction industry.
2. Proven experience with retail, big box, site work, underground utilities, and tilt wall.
3. In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles.
4. Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
5. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
6. The ability to communicate and report effectively.
7. Aptitude in math and strong negotiation skills.
8. A valid travel license.
9. A degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or related field is desirable.
