Job Details:
We are seeking a dynamic, motivated, and experienced Permanent Traveling Superintendent to oversee the construction of Ground Up Convenience Stores. This challenging yet rewarding role offers the opportunity to lead and manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring that all aspects of the construction process are carried out to the highest standards. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of construction projects, including planning, coordinating, budgeting, and supervising construction activities. This role requires extensive travel, as you will be overseeing projects across multiple locations.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all phases of new construction and renovation projects from start to finish.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Coordinate and supervise the work of construction crews, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Conduct quality control inspections to ensure adherence to project specifications.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and forecasts.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other construction and building specialists.
• Handle problems that may arise due to inclement weather, emergencies, or other issues that may cause delays.
• Prepare and submit progress reports and other documentation as required.
• Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal regulations.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Superintendent or similar role in the construction industry.
• Proven experience in construction of Gas Stations, Quick Marts, and Convenience Stores is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, equipment, and OSHA guidelines.
• Excellent leadership, project management, and team building skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Proficient in MS Office and construction management software.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to travel extensively and stay at project locations for extended periods.
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field is preferred.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to handle physical workload and to work in various weather conditions.
