We're a General Contractor that has been in business for 50+ years specializing in a variety of construction markets that include Healthcare/Medical, Commercial, Retail, Restaurant, Financial Institutions/Banks, & Light Industrial projects throughout the US.

Our team is actively looking to make a long-term hire for a Traveling Superintendent. All projects will be based throughout the Southeast (FL, GA, TN, NC, SC, AL etc.)

We are seeking a Traveling Superintendent with a focus on Commercial Construction to join our team. This role offers the unique opportunity to work on a variety of commercial construction projects across various locations throughout the Southeast. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management with experience in commercial construction, retail construction, and/or healthcare construction.

As a Traveling Superintendent, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing all aspects of our commercial construction projects. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Supervising all construction activities on-site, ensuring all work is carried out according to plans and specifications.
2. Coordinating and overseeing the work of subcontractors, suppliers, and other project team members.
3. Ensuring compliance with all safety and quality standards, codes, and regulations.
4. Troubleshooting and resolving any on-site issues and challenges.
5. Conducting regular site inspections and reporting on project status.
6. Collaborating with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
7. Managing project schedules and budgets, making necessary adjustments to ensure timely and cost-effective completion of projects.


To be successful in this role, you will need a unique blend of skills, experience, and attributes. These include:

1. A minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent, with a focus on commercial, retail, and healthcare construction.
2. A proven track record of successfully completed construction projects.
3. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a diverse team.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve on-site issues quickly and effectively.
5. In-depth knowledge of construction processes, equipment, and safety protocols.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
7. The ability and willingness to travel extensively as part of the role.
