Job Details:
We are on the hunt for a dynamic and experienced Traveling Roofing Superintendent to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who loves to travel and has a strong background in the construction industry, particularly with roofing systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all stages of the roofing process, from planning and design to installation and maintenance. This is a permanent position that requires extensive travel, providing a unique opportunity to explore different regions while working on exciting construction projects.

Responsibilities:
As a Traveling Roofing Superintendent, you will be expected to:

1. Oversee all aspects of the roofing process, including planning, installation, inspection, and maintenance.
2. Ensure all projects are completed on time and within budget, without compromising on quality or safety.
3. Travel extensively to various construction sites, coordinating with local teams and managing resources effectively.
4. Maintain strict adherence to OSHA regulations and other safety standards, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for all team members.
5. Conduct regular inspections and assessments of roofing systems, identifying any potential issues and implementing necessary repairs or modifications.
6. Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and team members, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any concerns promptly.
7. Train and mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
8. Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements in roofing technology, implementing these into our practices where appropriate.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Superintendent role within the construction industry, with a particular focus on roofing systems.
2. Extensive knowledge of OSHA regulations and a strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
3. Proven experience in roofing installation, with a thorough understanding of various roofing systems and materials.
4. The ability to travel extensively and adapt to different working environments.
5. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a proven ability to manage teams and coordinate with various stakeholders.
6. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address issues promptly and effectively.
7. A commitment to continuous learning and improvement, with a willingness to stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements.
8. A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel extensively.
9. High school diploma or equivalent. A degree in construction management or a related field will be considered an advantage.
