Job Details

Provides office services by implementing administrative systems, procedures, and policies, and monitoring administrative projects and transportation tasks by performing the following duties:

  • Greets visitors and assists employees by providing information by answering questions and requests or directing to proper department
  • Receives and processes incoming/outgoing orders in computer database and monitors shipments
  • Answer calls regarding inquiries and assist or route to proper department
  • Verifies customer and order information for correctness, checking it against previously obtained information as necessary
  • Schedules transportation and prepares necessary documents for carriers and loading facilities
  • Prepare shipping documents
  • Inform customers of order information and any accessorial charges
  • Maintain supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipate needed supplies; verifying receipt of supplies
  • Perform data entry and scan documents
  • Complete customers require quality measurement forms verifying accuracy and revising documents as directed
  • Assists Corporate HR in completing I9 documentation for New Hires and sets up new hire for training videos during orientation
  • Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential
  • Complies with attendance guidelines of the company.
  • Comply with all food safety/quality related programs and procedures accordingly to support GFSI and regulatory standards.
  • Provide general administrative and clerical support
  • Participate in job and safety training offered and required by the Company

Required Skills/Knowledge:

  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel and Word
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • General office experience
  • Transportation experience desired but not required
  • Experience in the food industry is desired but not required
