Telecommunications Manager (The Valley region)

Established telecommunications company is growing and looking to add a Telecommunications Manager to cover The Valley region (South of San Antonio to Harlingen)

We are seeking an experienced professional to manage telecommunication construction projects in the South Texas/Valley area. Reporting directly to the Senior Vice President of Construction, this role involves supervising department managers and supervisors and overseeing 2-6 direct reports. The successful candidate will establish and nurture client relationships, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage telecommunication construction projects in the South Texas/Valley area.
• Supervise department managers, supervisors, and direct reports.
• Communicate directly with clients, fostering relationships with new and existing clients.
• Plan, direct, and coordinate with subcontractors to ensure project timelines, quality, and profitability are met.
• Handle invoicing, hiring employees and subcontractors, and maintaining fleet for the region.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of telecommunication OSP construction experience.
• Previous supervisory and people management experience.
• Proven track record in planning, directing, and coordinating with subcontractors.
• Strong communication and customer service skills, with experience in direct client communication.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
