We are looking for a Tax Supervisor to join our dynamic finance team. As a Tax Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the tax compliance and planning activities of our organization. This is a full-time position that requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and review tax returns and workpapers prepared by staff members
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations
• Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities
• Stay up-to-date on changes in tax laws and regulations and communicate their impact to management and staff
• Prepare and review tax provisions and related disclosures for financial statements
• Build and maintain relationships with external tax advisors, auditors, and regulatory agencies
• Assist with tax-related audits and inquiries
• Manage and mentor tax staff members

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
• CPA certification preferred or pursuing
• 5+ years of experience in tax compliance and planning
• Experience with CCH tax software preferred
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience managing and mentoring staff members
