PTO - 22 Days PTO/Sick days for year 1. Then sliding scale.

Job duties include but are not limited to:

• Preparing, reviewing & maintaining workpapers with proper documentation
• Preparing Review and Compilations financial statements
• Write-up of clients' books and records, monthly bank reconciliations, year-end adjusting entries and business tax return preparation
• Preparing tax projections
• Prepare tax closings
• Prioritize work according to filing deadlines and workflow demands
• Keep colleagues, managers and partners informed of progress and the need to make adjustments to scheduled work.
• Tax research as necessary
• Gain an understanding of client business operation, procedures, and needs.
• Follow established procedures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 2-4 years of recent and relevant public accounting experience in Tax in the U.S.
• Ability to work in fast paced environment
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills is ideal
• Proficient user of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Applications and tax software (i.e. CCH, ProSystems, Engagement, QuickBooks, etc.)
