Tax Sr, Supervisor or Manager

Position Summary:

The Tax Sr. / Supervisor should be an organized professional with strong technical and interpersonal skills to be able to work effectively with our clients and staff. The accountant will handle tax preparation, help prepare reports for clients and Senior Management, and assist as needed in audit and accounting services departments.

Duties:
· Reviewing all types of tax returns
· Utilizing tax-related software to complete complex business and individual returns, research tax matters, and carry out other projects
· Directly supervising and training tax staff
· Providing timely, high quality client service
· Interacting with client personnel on tax return information, due dates, deadlines, and other tax compliance and consulting matters
· Promoting business development and related activities

Minimum Requirements:
· Current or recent experience with a CPA firm in Tax required (5 to 10 years)
· Solid understanding of tax code and all technical aspects of tax preparation and compliance
· Knowledge and experience with e-filing
· Excellent oral and written communication skills
· CPA a must – MS in taxation is a plus, but not required
· CCH Axcess experience a bonus
