Work/Life Balance:

Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review corporate, individual, and partnership tax returns in compliance with federal and state tax laws.
  • Assist the Tax Manager in overseeing a team of tax and finance professionals.
  • Prepare quarterly and annual tax reports, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
  • Assist in maintaining and updating the company's tax database.
  • Collaborate with the Tax Manager in devising and implementing tax strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Prepare necessary documentation for tax payments and returns.
  • Communicate with the finance department to share pertinent financial data.
  • Identify potential tax savings opportunities and ways to enhance profitability.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and changes related to tax laws and regulations.
  • Assist in liaising with internal and external auditors.
  • Help forecast tax predictions to upper management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA certification is preferred.
  • At least five years' experience in a Tax Senior role or similar capacity.
  • Proficiency in HNWI and Business returns
  • Profound knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance, and various types of tax returns.
  • Proficiency in tax software and MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proven track record of meeting deadlines.
  • Strong client service skills, with a knack for building and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well in a team setting, as well as independently.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
