Job Details:

We are currently seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Tax Senior to join our Finance team. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers a dynamic work environment, competitive remuneration, and an opportunity to be part of a fast-paced, growth-oriented company. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling complex tax issues, ensuring tax compliance, and providing tax planning and advisory services to our clients, primarily in the real estate sector. This role will also involve working closely with our senior management and other team members to ensure the successful execution of tax strategies and projects.

Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and review complex tax returns and tax provisions for REITs and other real estate entities.
2. Conduct thorough tax research and planning to minimize tax liabilities and ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
3. Provide tax advisory services to clients, including advising on tax implications of business strategies and transactions.
4. Liaise with tax authorities on tax audits and queries, and represent clients in tax disputes when necessary.
5. Collaborate with the finance team and other departments to implement tax strategies and projects.
6. Keep abreast of latest developments in tax laws and regulations, and provide updates and training to team members and clients.
7. Participate in business development activities, such as client meetings and presentations.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. An MBA or a Master's degree in Taxation is preferred.
2. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is highly desirable.
3. A minimum of three years of experience in public accounting, with a strong focus on tax and real estate.
4. In-depth knowledge of REIT tax compliance and real estate tax issues.
5. Excellent research and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and apply complex tax laws and regulations.
6. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and team members at all levels.
7. High level of integrity and professionalism, with a commitment to upholding ethical standards.
8. Proficient in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.
10. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
11. Willingness to continuously learn and adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
