Our client is a full-service public accounting and business consulting firm located in Johnston, RI, provides accounting, audit, tax, consulting, bookkeeping and related services to a diverse client base of businesses and individuals throughout Southern New England.

Due to continued growth, we are currently seeking dedicated self-starting team players with a strong tax background to lead tax engagements for privately held clients in a variety of industries. 4+ years of recent public accounting experience required, CPA a plus.

Job Responsibilities:
· Working directly with clients, you will prepare, and possibly review, business and
individual tax returns.
· Mentor junior associates
· Complete complex tax research.
· Assist in audit engagements.
· Prepare financial statements.
· Develop and cultivate professional relationships.

Skills/Experience:
· The candidate should be able to demonstrate excellent organizational skills.
· Ability to juggle multiple priorities, while meeting deadlines, in a fast-paced
environment.
· Interact professionally with clients and all levels of staff.
· Familiarity with Microsoft products and accounting software preferred (Lacerte tax
software proficiency is a plus).
· Knowledge of accounting principles and auditing/tax standards
· CPA or CPA candidate a plus
