POSITION SUMMARY:

Apply your understanding of tax and accounting theories and procedures on client engagements
Identify and resolve client tax and accounting issues
Prepare & review medium/advanced complexity tax returns for individual, trust, corporate, partnership & foreign tax clients
Research & consult on various tax matters utilizing tax related research software
Respond to IRS and other tax authority inquiries
Ability to handle multiple priorities, clients and tight deadlines
Develop & maintain client relationships, including involvement in business development and civic activities
Ability to supervise/manage & train/mentor other staff
Assist partner with client operational & control opportunities and client presentations
Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail
Strong computer skills and excellent verbal, written & presentation skills
Attend CPE and training sessions on a regular basis
Perform other job-related duties as necessary
Ability to work additional hours as needed
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in accounting
CPA certificate
4+ years public accounting experience
Strong proficiency in Federal & State taxes
Strong audit skills with proficiency in US GAAP, OCBOA
Self starter
Strong communication skills (written & verbal)
Highly skilled in utilizing computer applications
